ICE Info

ICE- In Case of Emergency

Emergency responders will turn to a victim's cell phone for clues to that person's identity. You can make their job much easier with a simple idea that they are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE

ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. If you add an entry in the contacts list in your cell phone under ICE, with the name and phone no. of the person that the emergency services should call on your behalf, you can save them a lot of time and have your loved ones contacted quickly, who may be able to provide them with medical information you are unable to give. It only takes a few moments of your time to do.

All emergency responders know what ICE means and they look for it immediately. ICE your cell phone NOW!

MCFD Events

The Marine City Fire Department hosts events regularly. We post announcements on our website, as well as at our station. We host fundraising events such as the Annual Fireman’s Ball, hockey games, car washes, and much more! All proceeds go to help the department purchase necessary equipment to save lives.

Join us on February 6, 2010, the 135th Annual Fireman's ball at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 6385 King Road. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $25.00 per person in advance, $30 per person at the door, and includes cocktails and dinner and entertainment by The Groove. Tickets are available from any Marine City Firefighter, or at the fire hall at 200 S. Parker.
